Improvements To Road End Closures, Ely

Cardiff Council will be undertaking improvement works to the above locations following the public consultation undertaken in October 2023.

The improvements will consist of:

• Removal of the brick wall and replaced with Black ball-top railings and matching chicanes,
• Footpath resurfacing and decorative paving near railings,
• Tree & Planter (installed at a later date),
• Provision of additional parking bay on Grand Avenue,
• New bollards,
• Drop kerbs where required.

Calibre Construction Ltd have been appointed as principal contractors and will be carrying on the works on behalf of Cardiff Council, commencing 23^rd September 2024. The project will take approximately 6-8 weeks to complete.

During this time, a certain amount of disruption is likely to occur, however, every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum.
