Cardiff Council is proposing to make some improvements to the shopping area in Cowbridge Road East. We would like to give local residents, shoppers and traders the opportunity to help us enhance your area.
Two public engagement sessions have been held to obtain comments from residents, traders and visitors to the area. The first session sought to obtain initial views and suggestions on what improvements could be made in the area. These were then collated and used to prepare draft concept plans, which were presented to the community in a second engagement session. All of the comments and suggestions received from the community have been summarised in a public engagement feedback report.
Next steps:
- Develop the suggestions put forward in the concept plan
- Prepare detailed design plans for further consideration
- Submit a bid to Welsh Government for funding to enable the delivery of an improvement scheme.
