Maria Street Environmental Improvements

This project, which has now been completed, formed part of the Council’s Neighbourhood Renewal Scheme Programme, which takes forward improvement schemes suggested by Local Councillors.

Works Included:

• Road resurfacing
• Footpath resurfacing
• Upgrade of paved areas
• A bin store for Noor El Islam Mosque to remove bins from footpath
• Closure of narrow walkway between Maria Street and Canal Parade
